The following cases were completed at North Somerset Courthouse between May 9-13:

● Thomas Lucas (20), of Sunningdale Road, Weston. Driving without due care and attention: Fined £120. Failure to stop at the scene of an accident: Fined £180 plus £35 costs and £15 victim surcharge, banned from driving for 28 days. Failure to report an accident: No separate penalty.

● Marguerite Scott (63), of Constable Drive, Worle. Driving without due care and attention: Fined £100, ordered to pay £110 compensation plus £35 costs and £15 victim surcharge, licence endorsed with four penalty points.

● Daniel Hood (19), of Royal Crescent, Weston. Threatening behaviour: One-year community order with restraining order, ordered to pay £200 costs.

● Jefferson Disney (23), of Windermere Avenue, Weston. Taking a vehicle without owner’s consent: One-year community order with requirement to carry out 80 hours’ unpaid community work, ordered to pay £200 compensation plus £85 costs.

● William Thompson (62), of Thomas Close, Banwell. Two counts of drink-driving: Two-year community order with requirement to carry out 200 hours’ unpaid community work, fined £600 plus £170 costs and £30 victim surcharge, banned from driving for 46 months. Driving without licence: No separate penalty. Driving without insurance: No separate penalty.

● Christopher Kibby (39), of Winterstoke Road, Weston. Two counts of theft: Six-month community order with 12-week curfew, ordered to pay £85 costs.

● Michelle Stevens (37), of Chaucer Road, Weston. Assaulting a police officer: 18-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £85 costs. Threatening behaviour: No separate penalty.

● Michael Nichols (18), of Stowey Road, Weston. Fraud: Sent to prison for 16 weeks. Theft: No separate penalty.

● Anthony Cockayne (25), of Longdown Drive, Weston. Criminal damage: Eight-week community order with curfew, ordered to obey six-month restraining order and pay £85 costs.

● Dennis Addison (43), of Mendip Road, Yatton. Possession of class A drug: Fined £65 plus £150 costs and £15 victim surcharge. Resisting a police officer: Fined £50. Failure to surrender: Fined £35.

● Nigel Lang (44), of Ashcombe Road, Weston. Threatening behaviour: 12 weeks in prison, suspended for two years, five-month curfew, ordered to pay £310 costs.

● Craig Smith (38), of Locking Road, Weston. Drink-driving: One-year community order with requirement to carry out 60 hours’ unpaid community order, ordered to pay £300 costs, banned from driving for three years.

● David Williams (31), of Townsend Road, Weston. Assault: 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £300 costs.

● Paul Woonton (29), of Manilla Crescent, Weston. Threatening behaviour: Fined £35 plus £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge.

● Russell Southgate (38), of Baildon Road, Weston. Three counts of theft: Sent to prison for four weeks.

● Liam Underhill (26), of Longridge Way, Weston. Driving without due care and attention: Fined £175, ordered to pay £350 compensation, plus £35 costs and £15 victim surcharge. Failure to stop at scene of accident: Fined £260 and banned from driving for 12 months. Failure to report accident: No separate penalty.
