Paramedics help driver after crash

A driver of a silver hatchback is receiving treatment after a crash in North Somerset this afternoon (Thursday).
Emergency services were called out to an accident in Yatton earlier this afternoon (Thursday).
Police, firefighters and paramedics are at the scene in Claverham Road.
The road was shut while the motorist was tended to but has since reopened.
A South Western Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called to a two-vehicle RTC in Claverham Road, Yatton
“We attended with one ambulance.
“One female patient has a chest injury and they have been taken to Weston General Hospital for treatment.”
