There are long delays on both the M5 and the A370 this morning (Wednesday).

Part of the A370 has been closed after a crash and the M5 is at a standstill this morning (Wednesday).

Bridgwater Road between Eastertown and the A38 Bristol Road has been closed both ways and traffic is backed up to the East Brent roundabout and through Lympsham and Bleadon.

There are a number of emergency vehicles on the scene.

A crash on the M5 northbound between junction 19 (Portishead) and junction 20 (Clevedon) has led to stop-start traffic between junction 18 (Avonmouth) and junction 22 (Burnham-on-Sea).

There is also congestion on the A370 between Flowerdown Bridge in Weston-super-Mare and Congresbury.
