A MONTHLY village market is drawing in the crowds from far and wide with its local produce and crafts.
Bleadon had a busy morning at its latest market in the Coronation Halls with villagers and tourists showing an interest in what was on offer.
The Horton family from Birmingham dropped in to grab a bargain, and mum Elaine said: “It was a great morning out, we made many new friends.”
The next village market is being held on July 18 from 9am–12.30pm in the halls in Coronation Road.
There will be more than 30 stalls selling local produce, plants and pet products as well as a range of collectables, crafts and books.
Among the stalls will be Nut Tree Farm, run by Marie and Steve Hares.
They began selling their fresh goat’s milk, goat’s cheese and home-reared goat meat at the market in May.
