Two David Bowie fans created a magazine expecting 30 people may want a copy – but have ended up selling hundreds of copies and picking up some celebrity endorsements.

Andy Jones from Worlebury and his nephew Nick Smart from Worle have created a fanzine called David Bowie Glamour.

Andy said: “I have been talking about doing one for about 20 years with my nephew. I retired from work and thought ‘now is the time’.

“It has taken off in a big way.”

It features artwork by Helen Green, who has created art for singer Lady Gaga, design work by Chris Jones from Milky Cereal, and has celebrity fans including comedian Noel Fielding and performer Nile Rodgers.

Mr Bowie’s wife, Iman, has also shared her support.

Andy and Nick want to hear from people who may have seen David Bowie perform in Weston in 1972 and have pictures of his time in the town. To learn more, and find out how you can send in your own pictures, visit www.davidbowieglamour.wordpress.com
