Before and after: the car was crushed after a court order

A CONVICTED drug dealer had their car crushed into an unrecognisable box of compacted metal after being found guilty of supplying class B drugs.

The courts ordered the Churchill teenager’s black Vauxhall Corsa to be seized and destroyed after being found guilty in October.

The teen was also handed a one-year referral order and the car was crushed earlier this month.

PCSO Michele Barrett said: “Drug-related crime has an adverse effect on local communities, bringing with it other issues such as antisocial behaviour and theft.

“Targeting these issues is a priority for us in North Somerset and I hope this sends a clear message that crime doesn’t pay.”

If you have any information about drug dealing in your neighbourhood, call police on 101.
