YOUNGSTERS around North Somerset had a berry good time indeed at a breakfast challenge held at schools around the district over the past week.

Pupils at Bournville Primary, Winscombe Primary and Windwhistle Primary schools all took part in the berries for breakfast challenge which saw them make and sample various berry-based delights, and get creative with crafts.

All of the schools have entered into a competition with entries which showed what they had learned about berries and fruit at breakfast, with the winners gaining cash prizes to go towards their breakfast clubs.
