Weston College this week launched its new range of adult and part-time courses – with dozens of new students signing up at its open evening.

Hundreds of people attended the event, which illustrated the courses available as well as giving visitors the chance to talk to tutors.

The event also showcased the courses on offer through a number of demonstrations.

These included hair and beauty, health and social care, as well as cooking courses.

Around 50 people made their decision on the night and signed up for a course immediately.

However, the college is hosting further open days and evenings.

These will take place on June 29 between 2pm and 4pm at the Knightstone campus in Knightstone Road.

There will also be an evening session on August 24 between 6pm and 8pm at the same venue.

A spokesman for the college said: “Visitors were among the first to get their hands on the new adult and part-time course guide, which contains details of the new provision.

“If you are thinking about taking up an adult or part-time course at Weston College, there are still plenty of opportunities to come and speak to staff and find out more.”
