SWASHBUCKLING schoolchildren enjoyed a week of pirate-themed activities.

There were Jolly Rogers aplenty at East Brent First School as four year groups took trips to Weston beach and an aquarium in Somerset before enjoying events and activities at the school in Church Road.

School spokesman Leanne Daws said: “We had fantastic feedback from parents about how much they enjoyed it.”
