Students at Broadoak Mathematics and Computing College showcased their talents at an evening of music, drama and dance.

The Weston-super-Mare school hosted an end-of-year show which included performances from its key stage three dance group.

The school also held ‘dance in a day’ sessions during its enrichment week, and people could watch the choreography students had learned.

The school’s next big production will be The Wiz in November and its cast performed a preview of the show at the event.

The evening was brought to a close by one of the school’s bands Los Hombres, which won a battle of the bands competition at the school earlier this year.

The school’s headteacher Shelagh Pritchard said: “The talent we had on show this evening was of an exceptionally high standard making this year’s performing arts showcase the best one yet. I am so very proud of every student who took part.”
