Young talent is being urged to come forward.

A Weston community centre will host a casting day for young people later this month.

Casting company Briz Kidz is heading to the town to find young talent at St Georges Community Centre, in Willow Close, from 10am-4pm on October 22.

By signing up on the day, children could get paid work on film and television productions.

Dawn Smith, the company’s casting director, said: “First and foremost, it was for the kids really. I have always worked with children, across all aspects of my career.

“I love the energy that they bring with them, and their enthusiasm is very contagious. I have seen how being involved in the creative arts can boost a child’s self esteem and confidence.”

To register your child, you will need a copy of their birth certificate and a professional standard headshot as well as a full length photograph.
