CHILDREN from a Claverham school were put through their paces when they tackled a charity fun run last week.

Youngsters from Court de Wyck Primary School, in Bishops Road, were helped by staff from health club theclub at DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House, in Congresbury.

Pupils ran an inner and outer circuit of the school playground while stopping at a number of stations where they completed a series of other exercises, using pieces of equipment including stepladders, hurdles and mini spin bikes.

Manager Jason Eaton said: “The Court de Wyck children really enjoyed the session and really got stuck in. As a bit of an incentive we also presented T-shirts for each child who completed a minimum of five laps and I’m pleased to say everyone went home happy.”
