Mendip Green Primary School held a year one wedding ceremony, complete with dolled-up bridesmaids, a dapper best man and a gushing mother-of-the-bride. The ceremony took place at St Martin’s Church in Worle.

The community stepped in to help with the event and professional hairdressers, make-up artists and bell-ringers all offered their services.

Bride Summer and groom Luke were showered in confetti as they left the church before going back to the school for the reception, which was finished off with wedding cake and a speech from best man Max.
