WESTON College has got gold in a national award for outstanding commitment to staff development.
The Investors in People (IIP) Gold Award, previously presented to the college in 2010 ,was handed to bosses after an extensive inspection.
The award is made to less than two per cent of UK businesses.
Dr Paul Phillips, the college’s principal, said: “To retain this very prestigious award reflects the time, effort and energy we put into staff development.
“Weston College is an entrepreneurial organisation that is more than meeting the demands of the 21st century workplace. We very much hope we can champion our Investors in People status and share our good practice and ideas with many other organisations.”
