A PREMIER League linesman visited a Weston school.

Pupils at Windwhistle Primary School, in Kingsley Road, were given the chance to question Ron Ganfield on his role in the Premier League.

He then refereed a game of football.

The visit was held in conjunction with the Premier League Reading Stars programme, which is run by the National Literacy Trust.

It aims to inspire children to read more books and raise attainment.

It is the third time Windwhistle has run the programme, and has previously had visitors from Weston Football Club, and visits to The Memorial Stadium, Bristol Rovers’ ground.
