Weston College’s development of the Winter Gardens is continuing to move forward at a rapid pace, and the college has this week released the latest pictures of the work which is underway.

The college is restoring the pavilion and part of the building is being revamped as a law and professional services academy and university centre. The ballroom is also being refurbished, but will remain entirely for public use.

As well as this, there will be a new two-storey bar and restaurant, which will overlook the seafront.

A spokesman for the college said: “The amount of work completed so far is incredible, and has really opened the building up to create light, attractive and usable spaces that offer stunning views of Weston’s seafront.

“We can’t wait to try out the new restaurant - which will serve a selection of locally sourced British cuisine - while overlooking the Pier, Steep Holm and Knightstone Island.”
