A QUICKSTICKS tournament was held between a number of schools for pupils to test their skills and meet new friends.

Quicksticks is a four-a-side hockey game aimed at seven to 11-year-olds. The tournament was held between children from Windwhistle, Walliscote, Milton Park, Oldmixon and Bournville Primary Schools in Weston.

It is one of many sport competitions being held between the schools this year and was funded by Sports Premium, which was set up by the Government to increase participation in sport throughout the UK.
