SANDFORD’S new cub pack used newspapers to make collages and airplanes at the groups’ meeting on Friday.

The unit has returned to the village for the first time since 2001, and leaders are now being sought to set up a new scout group.

The cubs, who meet every Friday from 5.30-7pm at the hut in Hill Road, also made cards for each other to celebrate their initiation into the movement.
