Excited children dressed in graduation gowns and hats and performed to parents to mark the end of their preschool years.

Children from Little Explorers, which is based in Little Farm in Bristol Road, Hewish, enjoyed a graduation ceremony to celebrate their move up to school in September.

The excited youngsters learnt a number of songs so they could perform them to their family and friends at the ceremony in Uphill Village Hall.

The children also took to the stage to tell parents and staff what they wanted to be when they grew up.

Preschool manager Deb Curley said: “We wish them luck in the next step in life. We are going to miss them.”

The preschool caters for children aged two-and-a-half to four.

Owners are opening another Little Explorers Preschool in January which will be held at Worle Baptist Church.
