Children in Congresbury made the most of Valentine’s Day by baking tasty treats and making thoughtful cards.

The youngsters enjoyed an event at the Congresbury Youth Partnership last week, which saw them make an array of goodies and creations to give to other people.

Event organiser Michelle Davis said: “The children and young people made Australian crunch, toffee and marshmallow Rice Krispie treat hearts, which they decorated for their special person.

“They also decorated their very own Valentine’s Day cards.

“They all enjoyed being creative and developing their baking skills while having fun with their peers.”
