Celebrity chef Marco Pierre White visits School of Food students

Catering students from Weston College’s School of Food were given the chance to quiz Marco Pierre White during his latest visit to the South West.

The celebrity chef, who was visiting his two North Somerset restaurants, both at DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House in Congresbury, spent time with the youngsters, offering advice and guidance on forging a career in catering and hospitality.

Mimmo Pomo, restaurant manager at the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill, said: “It was great for the students to meet Marco.

“He is a real advocate when it comes to the next generation of cooks and chefs and is always prepared to give time to those who are passionate about food.

“Marco loves inspiring students and we hope they will be even more motivated to do well in the future – you never know, we may just have in our midst the next Marco Pierre White, right here in the South West.”
