The new leadership team at Worle Community School has started to make changes just days into the role, beginning with the appointment of a new head boy and girl.

Priory Community School principal Neville Coles will be based at Worle for most of this term and is leading improvement efforts.

Jacqui Scott, the deputy principal at Priory, will become head of school at Worle.

Miss Scott said: “We are delighted to announce our new head boy and girl.

“We are also keen for the whole community to come together to help things move forward. It is a community school and we want residents, business people, shopkeepers and others to all play a big part.”

Priory is in the process of creating a multi-academy trust, which it hopes Worle would become a part of when it becomes an academy.
