STUDENTS plucked up the courage to handle some feathered companions this week.
They are of the kind that produce the eggs which are used by their new catering provider.
Priory Community School upgraded its facilities in the summer bringing them to a standard enjoyed in restaurants.
Aspens Services who provide the facilities were chosen for a Gold Eggsellence Award by the British Hen Welfare Trust – and students were able to celebrate by meeting and holding the free range hens.
