Karianna Sweet with the rubbish she collected

A PRIMARY school pupil has raised more than £100 helping the environment.

Karianna Sweet, of Burrington Primary School, collected nine bags worth of rubbish from the Strawberry Line nature trail near Winscombe.

Headteacher Alison Waite praised Karianna for organising the litter pick and said the whole school was proud of her achievement.

The £120 raised will go to the gardening club which will grow more flowers for the Strawberry Line.
