PUPILS at Banwell Primary School beat youngsters from across the South West as the school was named the South West winner of the UK Berries for Breakfast competition.
The competition was held to promote the health benefits of berries, and the school won the prize after sending in an entry demonstrating what pupils did on berries for breakfast day, which was held earlier this year.
The school was one of nine regional runners-up, and has won £100 of Asda supermarket vouchers to encourage the children to continue making healthy berry breakfasts.
