SIDCOT School is launching a new scheme to offer scholarships and bursaries for its pupils.
The school in Oakridge Lane will hold an open meeting on Monday for the parents of prospective students to find out more about the new scheme.
Among the changes to be introduced will be discounts of up to 50 per cent on annual day fees for students who excel academically or in sport or music and headteacher’s scholarships for students deemed to have brought an ‘outstanding’ all-round contribution to the Quaker school.
The deadline for applications for the next academic year is May 14.
The open day will take place in the school’s arts centre between 9.30am and noon.
