St Martin’s Primary school in Worle held an end of year celebratory event during its art week on July 10.

Parents and carers were invited to take a look at their children’s school projects which showcased the pupils achievements throughout the academic year.

Students had a colourful display of their work on show, with artwork ranging from papier-mâché models to animal-quilting cushions.

On the day music performances were held in the school hall and people could also enjoy a barbecue, raffle and a silent auction.

Parents could also watch their children engaging in school activities as part of the event.

A spokesman for the primary said: “Thanks to an amazing turnout the event proved to be a huge success.”

St Martin’s is part of the Kaleidoscope Multi-Academy Trust which also incorporates six additional primaries including those in Ashcombe, Hutton and Worle.
