Students electrify in Grease performance

THE Pink Ladies and T-Birds rocked up at one Worle secondary school for a performance of hit musical Grease.

Students at Priory Community School have been rehearsing for weeks.

Impressive sets, slicked-back hairstyles and classic American high school looks wowed audiences during three performances of the show.

Two of the musical’s stars, Jack Evison and George Grant, who played Eugene and Danny, are now hoping for a career in the West End.

Head of drama Jessica Hall said: “Jack and George are fantastic students and we are very proud of their achievements so far.

“We are in no doubt that their dreams will come true and they will make it big in the West End.

“At Priory we are passionate about the creative arts and the students involved and to see them succeed is amazing.”
