EXTRA trains will be running to help people get to and from Weston for two major summer events this weekend.

The town is expected to be incredibly busy with the two-day air festival coinciding with Armed Forces Day.

First Great Western (FGW) has therefore decided to put on more trains over the weekend.

Matthew Morgan, FGW’s station manager at Weston, said: “We are delighted that 16 additional trains will be provided to help fans return from town’s magnificent air show, but customers are warned to allow plenty of time, as a queuing system may be required to ensure customers can board services safely.”
