A ‘FEAST of flowers’ will be held at a village church to raise money to repair its cracked tower.
St Congar’s Church in Church Lane, Badgworth, needs to raise a total of £150,000 to repair the 600-year-old building.
Two days of events will be held at the church to help raise the funds.
There will be a miniature garden competition for children on both days, as well as cake and produce stalls and a raffle.
A Songs of Praise will be held at 11.30am on May 6, followed by a Ploughman’s lunch.
On May 7, cream teas will be served from 2-4pm and the raffle will be drawn in the evening.
