LIFE-SAVERS from the RNLI have been given a cash boost by a bunch of festive fund-raisers.
Burnham’s branch of the sea rescue charity received ‘several hundred pounds’ from supporters at Burnham Methodist Church.
The cash was raised at a Christmas fair run alongside the church’s coffee morning, which featured games, a raffle, a white elephant stall and the chance to buy plants and decorations.
Burnham RNLI treasurer Jan Pearce said: “We are grateful for the support from Burnham Methodist Church.
“Nothing was too much trouble, and they also donated profit from the coffee morning to our fund-raising event.”
