It may only be October but there are already some Christmas and Halloween events planned for this weekend.

Murder Mystery Murder Mystery

Get into the Halloween spirit with a murder mystery night on Friday.

The Birnbeck Regeneration Trust will host the game at the Workingmen’s Club in Orchard Street.

It will have a 1969 Miss Birnbeck theme and will begin at 7.30pm.

Weston’s RNLI is hosting a party on the Grand Pier, in Marine Parade, on Saturday at 7pm.

People will be treated to unlimited rides, followed by a buffet supper and a live band.

Support a local Worle primary school this weekend and get into the Christmas Spirit.

Students from Mendip Green Primary School, in Greenwood Road, will hold a festive craft fair on Saturday from noon to 3pm.

Handmade cards, soaps and jewellery will be on sale.

Catch the latest blockbuster at Weston’s Odeon, in The Centre, this weekend.

Blade Runner 2049 will launch this weekend with a star-studded cast.

The film will takes viewers back to the dark future of the original classic to find a new blade runner, Officer K, searching for the missing Rick Deckard.

Deckard disappeared 30 years ago but K has discovered a secret which could plunge what remains of society into turmoil.

Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling and Robin Wright will star in the action-packed, science fiction film.
