Weston-super-Mare children have been spending their half-term break taking part in football workshops.

The Campus, in Highlands Lane, put on a series of football fun days to allow young players the chance to practice their skills with friends.

Due to the chilly February weather conditions sessions were put on in the warmth of the venue’s indoor sports hall.

Other youngsters spent the week taking part in the community centre’s Castle Kids Club.

The club, which also runs daily after-school sessions during term time, offers a wide range of activities to keep children entertained for hours.

Arts and crafts allowed youngsters to indulge their creative side, while those who wanted to stay active took part in sports and played in the adventure playground.
