Four passengers on a Barcelona to Liverpool flight were arrested when it diverted to Bristol.

Archant

A flight from Barcelona to Liverpool had to be diverted to land at Bristol Airport yesterday (Thursday) so police could arrest four drunk passengers.

Avon and Somerset Constabulary arrested two 29-year-old men, a 26-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man for offences linked to being drunk on board an aircraft.

The police are now appealing for anyone who was on the easyJet flight – which was EZY7208 – from Barcelona to Liverpool.

The force wants any passengers who may have filmed the incident on their mobile phone to get in touch.

Anyone with information should call PC Adrian Chilcott on 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5217216307.
