Friends group holds fashion show for hospice

Fashion fans splashed out on new outfits to raise money for a Weston charity.

The Kewstoke and Worlebury Friends Group, which supports Weston Hospicecare, put on a fundraising fashion show at the Commodore Hotel in Kewstoke.

Models showcased outfits straight from the rails of the hospice’s many charity shops and the event raised £1,260, which will help the charity support people with life-limiting illnesses.

Community and events manager Sally Davis said: “We are extremely lucky to have such loyal support from all of our friends groups, volunteers and the public. We would also like to thank the Commodore, for its help and continued support.”
