A fundraising event in Kewstoke has helped a project supporting people in need.

Allonekind is based in Milton Road in Weston, and provides toiletries, toys, games and clothes to people in need.

Its services can be accessed by schools and social care teams.

It hosted an event at Kewstoke Village Hall, where there were numerous stalls and activities.

People could pick up some crafts, sweets and jewellery, and make some animals out of clay.

There was also an inflatable slide and gladiator game and children had their faces painted.

The fun day, plus money from another event, raised £1,700, which will help Allonekind pay its rent for five months.
