A HUMONGOUS fruit filled with human-like bugs will be rolling into Shipham next week.

The youth section of the Shipham Players will be taking to the boards to perform Roald Dahl's classic James and the Giant Peach.

The story follows orphan James and his horrible life with wicked aunts, which takes a turn for the better when he is faced with a magical fruit.

Bright costumes, dazzling sets and the famous words of one of the world's greatest children's authors are brought to life by the group.

Performances will be held at 7.30pm on February 5 and at 3pm and 7.30pm on February 6.

Tickets, priced £7 for adults and £3 for children, are available from Hansfords in The Square. There are no telephone bookings for this performance.
