Police suspect girl left with facial injuries may have been hit by vehicle

A 12-year-old girl left with ‘no recollection’ of how she sustained facial injuries may have been hit by a vehicle, according to police.

The girl was found by a member of the public in Drove Road at around 2pm yesterday (Monday) before her family toook her to hospital for treatment to minor injuries to her face.

An Avon and Somerset police spokesman said: “The 12-year-old girl was found having hit her head and had no recollection of how she came by her injuries.

“It has been suggested she may have been involved in a road traffic collision.”
