ACTIVITIES for all ages were on offer at the ‘brilliant’ Wrington village fete.

The event took place in the Court House Paddock, in Wiltons, and activities including weaving lessons and games were enjoyed by all.

The fete was boosted by some beautifully sunny weather throughout the afternoon.

Event organiser Jeanette Read said: “It was a brilliant day and we had record takings this year.

“Once we have covered our costs all the takings go directly to the village, and this year we are expecting to have made more than £1,000.

“We tried to keep it as close to a traditional village fete as possible, so we had lots of games and crafts on offer – there were more stalls than ever before.

“The majority of our village groups were represented as well, which was great to see.”
