Classic cars admired in Grove Park

Car enthusiasts gathered at Weston’s Grove Park at the weekend to view some classic and vintage vehicles.

The regular events see dozens of classic car owners drive into the park before stopping to admire each other’s prized vehicles.

The sunny weather meant the park was already bustling with visitors of all ages who also enjoyed wandering around the huge selection and chatting with owners about their cars.

Some of the impressive motors on display included a 1965 Oldsmobile Jetstar dating from 1965 and a 1937 Rover P2.

A 1963 Porsche SC and Austin Somerset A40 from 1952 also attracted large crowds of people throughout the day.

The car shows have raised more than £190,000 for charity over the years.

The next classic car gathering will be held at 10am on August 27.
