A HORSE-DRAWN carriage carried a bride onto the Grand in Pier in Weston for the first time at the weekend - and made it to the pavilion despite the adverse weather.
Alecia McLeod and Peter Emerson-Thomas, now Mr and Mrs Emerson-Thomas, tied the knot at the seafront attraction on Saturday.
Guests of the couple, who come from Taunton, braved the wind and the rain to reach the beautifully decked-out venue.
