SOME of Winscombe’s finest arts and crafts were on show at an event celebrating the bicentenary of non-conformist Christianity in the village.
The event and photo display was held in the Lynch Chapel on Saturday as part of a weekend of events marking the 200th anniversary since permission was granted for Peter Pim’s home to be used as a licensed place for worship. The chapel in The Lynch was established, initially as the Union Chapel, in 1827.
There was also a praise and worship session and celebratory meal on Saturday, before a special service on Sunday.
