SECRET World staff had a hoot as they opened up the animal rescue centre for a special festive open weekend.

The East Huntspill-based centre invited members of the public to join in with a special choir service on Friday night, and opened up the centre for people to see some of the resident animals on Saturday and Sunday.

Secret World fundraiser Lynette Preston said: “We had the Curtain Call local performing arts school come to do a special choir service on Friday, and Reverend Geoffrey Walsh did a service.

“We also had the fayre, and had our animal adoptions up again, with the brand new owl one being very popular.

“On Saturday and Sunday we had a lot of people visiting and some of our animals out, although it was too cold for most of them.”
