This week’s Humans of Weston instalment comes from lifelong Westonian Marion Goodwin.

Marion told the Humans team she was extremely fond of her ‘peaceful’ town and hated to hear other people criticising it.

She said: “I have lived in Weston all my life.

“I like Weston and I just love everything about it. I get very protective when I hear people running it down.

“It’s peaceful. If you walk down the seafront on a beautiful morning it’s just gorgeous when the tide is in.

“The beach is not dirty – it’s the mud pulled around by the tide.”

Keen cyclist Marion also said she was a big fan of being outdoors and was particularly fond of sunny weather and a delicious slice of cake.

She said: “In life I am passionate about my children and cake.

“I love being outside. I love the sun and riding my bike.”
