A bus driver will take on a 268-mile walk next month to thank a Weston charity which cared for his mother-in-law.
Ian Cooper, aged 50, will walk the Pennine Way national trail on July 19 in aid of Weston Hospicecare.
He said: “About eight months ago, my mother-in-law stayed at the hospice and I was so impressed by the work they do. What they do is special and I had to do something.
“I have always wanted to walk the Pennine Way and I am really excited. I plan to raise £2,680 as that works out at £10 a mile.”
