Yatton Tandoori had to be closed on Wednesday evening after police officers and UK Border Agency (UKBA) staff raided the High Street restaurant. Five Bangladeshi men were arrested on the scene.
They were taken to Weston police station and four have been detained and are facing deportation.
Two men, aged 21 and 27, were found to be in breach of their visas, a 26-year-old had overstayed his visa and a 39-year-old had illegally entered the UK.
A fifth man has been bailed pending further enquiries.
