AIR and Marine cadets from Weston joined forces for a special military training day.

The two groups – 290 Squadron Air Cadets and TS Weston Royal Marine Cadet Detachment – were drilled in techniques on how to dodge enemy snipers in open terrain and how to
survive in hostile territory.

A group spokesman said: “This was an excellent day in which the air cadets learned some great new skills to add to our field craft training. What a great start to a relationship between the two cadet forces in which we hope to continue in the future.”
