The Webbington Hotel and Spa in Loxton was hosting a charity boxing evening on Saturday night when a fight broke out among guests.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing people being glassed and chairs being thrown.

The incident was reported to Avon and Somerset police who attended the hotel at around 9.30pm when they dispersed the crowd.

Two people attended hospital as a result of the incident but their injuries were not serious.

Police also confirmed no arrests were made.

South Western Ambulance Service received a call at around 10pm but was stood down.

More than 30 boxers took to the ring to help raise more than £8,000 for Cancer Research UK.
