WANNABE skiers are being encouraged to hit the slopes in Churchill.

The Back to Sport 4 Life programme has been organised as part of the Go4Life scheme in a bid to get inactive adults in North Somerset out and about.

People who want to get fit and try their hand at the outdoor sport are being asked to sign up for the sessions at the Avon Ski & Action Centre, in Lyncombe Drive.

The programme, undertaken by a qualified instructor, is for participants of all abilities aged over 16.

The cost for the 10 weeks, beginning on June 8 from 7-8pm, is £57.50 and is to be paid at the first session or before.
