A DISABILITY charity has created 10 new jobs by opening a new office in Worle.

Walsingham Support opened a new regional office at the Castlemead Centre in Townsend Road last month.

The move has already seen 10 new jobs created, while the organisation wants to grow its team to 20 by the summer.

Head of operations Chris Rees said: “We are delighted to have opened an office in Weston and created new jobs.

“At Walsingham Support, we work to increase the quality of life and happiness of every person we support. We have already started providing support to adults with complex needs in the area, who had previously been in residential care services outside of the county.

“Our new office is an ideal base for us to build our support provision to people in North Somerset and we look forward to supporting more people to live their life to the full.”
